BIG CATFISH WITH JUGLINES! JUG FISHING!

The catfish are biting and Billy Jake has devised a master jugline plan. The boys catch bait and head to the lake. They bait up their Okie Flippers with baitfish. The catfish are in a pre spawn feeding frenzy. These fish are gorging preparing for the upcoming spawn. The boys boat several nice flatheads and channel catfish. We love chasing catfish, especially flatheads. The action is hot in this video. We had a 100 pound leader get broke off while making this episode. Makes a fisherman wonder if that was the big one we was looking for. This 100 pound leader was brand new and quality abrasion resistant line. All we have is a story, and you can't eat a story when they get away. I like to think it was a giant 100 pound water heifer of a catfish that broke our leader. Billy Jake has logged many hours studying the flatheads and we think we had a giant on. When they get away they are always bigger. Each time Billy Jake tells the story the fish seem to get bigger. Like they keep growing each time he tells the story. LOL. We dodged thunderstorms in this video by the hair of our chins. Its also storm season in Oklahoma, that always comes along with the peak of catfishing primetime.
