A common grave betrays one of the most fabulous and stylish women of the 20th century: Luisa, Marchesa Casati Stampa di Soncino. An extravagant socialite whose legendary parties were only surpassed by her clothing and accessories: a life of opulence ended in poverty with her body being buried in a common grave, although she was buried with her favourite Pomeranian. Sacha Coward explores her life and how her sexuality was VERY much a part of who she was and what she stood for.
