Understanding Water-in-Salt Electrolytes: A Case Study on LiTFSI Aqueous Solutions
March 24th, 2022, the ATOMS group had the virtual seminar with Prof. Yong Zhang (University of Notre Dame).
Prof. Zhang's main research interests include the development and application of molecular simulation methodologies to provide molecular-level understanding of properties that are observed at macroscopic level. Current application areas focus on new energy storage devices such as flow batteries, "beyond lithium-ion" batteries, and next-generation molten salt nuclear reactors.
