LEARN MORE: https://theuntouchables.co/
On the night of April 20th in 1959, American audiences were rocked out of their suburban living rooms and into Chicago's Prohibition streets by the battle of Eliot Ness and his incorruptible agents against the criminal forces of Al Capone.
Premiering in two-parts for the Westinghouse Desilu Playhouse, "The Untouchables" became the first, made-for-TV motion picture in history and it sparked a sensational television series that would run for four years after. In 1962, the two-part premiere was recut into a theatrical version and re-titled, "The Scarface Mob."
This trailer has been digitally reassembled to improve upon a muddy print and damaged audio track and no complete versions, which introduce the rest of the cast, are known to exist.
Desilu Film Distributing Co. Presents THE SCARFACE MOB. Starring Robert Stack as Eliot Ness, Co-Starring Keenan Wynn and Neville Brand. Screenplay by Paul Monash, Directed by Phil Karlson, Produced by Quinn Martin. Narrated by Walter Winchell. Based upon the novel "The Untouchables" by Eliot Ness and Oscar Fraley.
