Baked Creamed Corn
I hope you enjoy this dish that I threw together. It was so good. I really don't have a recipe for it. Most of the times I just throw something together. Here's what you will need:
Creamed corn. You can do this with fresh corn. Here is a link to creaming your own corn: https://youtu.be/awAgVQucwfw
Usually around 6 ears of corn will feed my family of four.
I add just a little bit of water and some heavy cream. Almost a cup.
I season mine with:
Salt, pepper, paprika, dried parsley, peppers such as jalapeno, banana peppers and green, red or yellow bell peppers and a dash of hot sauce.
I butter a baking dish and dot the top of the corn with butter.
In a pre-heated 400 degree F oven, I let it bake around 35-45 minutes, or, a bit longer. I stir it several times during cooking.
