Amy, a successful New York news producer, reluctantly returns to Louisiana for her ailing high school debate coach. Upon her return, she revisits memories as a high-school debater. It was a time when she bonded with her debate partner Nick, and faced her need to pursue her own dreams and break out from her town. Recalling the losses of the past, she is forced to reconsider her dreams and desires—ultimately putting the past to rest, turning a fresh page, and writing the next chapter of her story.
