Turn your Aviation Career into a Bachelor's Degree

Hey all. If you followed one of my video links to this video, you should know that I teach Aviation Technologies at SIUC. I also teach in the online degree completion program, and this is a great place for any A&P without a bachelor's degree to get one. Our online program allows you to count one of the following for up to about 2 years worth of full time credit with no strings attached. You could qualify if you meet one of the following criteria:

1. An FAA A&P certificate.
2. An Associate Degree in Aircraft Maintenance or Electronics.
3. Equivalent civilian or military work experience.
4. Previous completion of an FAA Part 147 aircraft maintenance school.

This online program is designed for busy aviation professionals to complete while they maintain their current employment. This program qualifies for GI bill funding, as well as funding from many employers. Financial aid may also be available through Southern Illinois University.
