10 FEET TALL - Raised Ceiling Height in a TINY HOME

Look at that pleasing exterior, the Melrose is done in a very simple yet elegant exterior design that will fit in any kind of scenery, from the beach front to the mountain side. Walking up to the front, we have the 8ft. covered front porch with a crows foot gable beam. Coming into the home, we walk straight into the living room. This area, as you can see in the video is well light by two sets of double windows with a transom above as well. When you look up you will notice the ceiling height, in the Melrose we did a raised ceiling height of about ten feet 10ft. This height continue over until you reach the kitchen, where you will see the ceiling drop. This is because the Melrose has a centralized loft, that mean the loft sits above the kitchen and the bathroom of the home.
Throughout the the home there are accents of southern yellow pine, you can see it on the kitchen bar, the shiplap accents behind the entertainment center and the half-wall on the stairs, the loft railings and lastly the shiplap accent wall in the bedroom. We also did hickory cabinets throughout the whole home.
After passing through the kitchen, you will walk into the bedroom. Immediately, when you step through the ceiling raise back up to the glorious 10 ft. high ceilings. Having tall ceiling in the bedroom is a great aspect to have when you go tiny. It's not something that you are always able to get in a Park Model but it can make the world of a difference.
