Road Cycling Blog: Outcycling The Rain.

The weather here in the UK this week has been pretty awful and absolutely not good for cycling. This has meant that my cycle training is going very slowly to say the least. Instead of actually getting out on the road and doing some proper cycling, I may have to stick with cycling on the turbo trainer and do some indoor workout using apps like Zwift and Kinomap.

This is all great for a while but you just don't get ride a significant distance. When it stops raining and the sun comes out even for a moment, its important to make the most of it. Over the weekend the weather improved slightly and I was able to go out and do some actual road cycling. Unfortunately for me, on both occasions, the weather turned for the worse and I had not choice but to try and out cycle the rain.
