Riding and reviewing the 2023 Ducati DesertX

The 2023 Ducati DesertX is a fun bike to ride on and off the road. While it' in motion, I love it. With the seat height being just over 34" from the ground, my 29" inseam is just too short unless I get some boots with lifts in them. Overall, I loved riding it and it's a nice bike whether you want to do some trail or desert riding, twisties or just a cruise on the road. In my opinion, I'd say if you have a 31" inseam or longer you'd be great on this bike. That said, I realize that there a riders with shorter legs than I've got who enjoy these taller bikes.

For the performance, I thought it was a smooth ride on the freeway and I really like the softer suspension set up while riding the trails. With six different riding modes, you have enough options to set it up the way you like it.

I like the looks of the bike and I think it resembles what a storm trooper would ride in the desert on the set of Star Wars. It's got a 5.5 gallon and between 40-45 mpg, so you should be able to get about 200-220 miles on a tank depending on what type of riding you're doing.
