Custom crasher hats 8" (3 splash + 1 minichina) #1

I tried to have something similar to the Meinl Benny Greb crasher hats and I made some tests with the 8" cymbals that I have.
For this video I used:
- Diril AD splash 8" as main bottom cymbal (265 g)
- Diril Aggressive splash 8" as main top cymbal (224 g)
- Murat Diril Renaissance mini china 8" (168 g) upside down underneath the AD splash
- Diril Raw splash 8" (186 g) upside down underneath the mini china
I filmed all the steps of the stacking.
The main 8" splashes as hi-hat match give a very metallic and not articulate sound as it could be imagined. I used quite heavy splashes for this hi-hat to enhance the stick definition and a brilliant top to add more brightness.
The addition of the mini china adds more color to the sound and gives a more quick response and trashiness to the hi-hat. The main disadvantage is a very annoying metallic noise that remains after every stroke. The addition of another splash removes the metallic noise and adds more complexity and "shaking" to the resulting sound.

Audio recorder from a Zoom H2 with no editing and video recorder with a Huawei P20 pro. 5B Vic Firth sticks.
