The manual firmware update should work with: Parrot Mambo, Spider, Swing, Hydrofoil and other Parrot mini drones.

The manual update is much faster and more reliable. It takes only a few minutes. As far as It know you can even downgrade a mini drone by using an old firmware. But an old app firmware is also needed, which shouldn't be a problem for Android devices, if the app is still available.

- Download the firmware for your mini drone from Parrot
- Connect the mini drone via usb cable to your pc or mac. A window will open.
- Copy the firmware to this "window" (drone storage)
- Safly remove the drone storage and unplug the drone from the computer
- The update process starts
