SpectraLayers 9 features two noise layer options in the unmix components process. This video explores how, when a sound is embedded in a field of noise, SpectraLayers can isolate the sound from the noise by using the non-destructive unmix and reconstruct hidden noise processes. You can split the audio into a tonal layer, transient layer and noise layer then, using reconstruct hidden noise, you get smoother sounds with less artifacts. Used in post-production, you can automatically erase unwanted environmental sounds and maintain a smooth and uninterrupted background texture. It’s also good to create samples from isolated noise tracks for music, to repair and restore recorded sounds and for sound design.
