Crafting a Foam Sword Part 1 (Cutting the Foam) - Craft Dad

Crafting a Foam Sword Part 1 is the beginning of a video series in which I show you how I plan to make my foam swords. The first step before we start working with foam is to have your template, if you don't have one or don't know of a good way to make one then just check out my video below on how to print one out. In this video I take you through the first part of the process, which is cutting out your basic foam sword shape. The EVA Foam will be the base element for my swords. As part of the build I plan to use PVC pipe as the center structure and worbla as the outer medium for detailing. I am also incorporating slots for the glowing gems that I have been working on (Link Below). The swords are coming along nicely now that I have some more time to work on them.
