My Lovely Horse Rescue - Mikey

This poor little boy was found with very deep rope burns, dog bites (old and new) and other cuts and bruises.

MLHR Cork got to the scene along with Jim, the Department of Agriculture Vet.
What an awful sight, little Mikey stood still, shut down .

The MLHR Cork team gently got Mikey into the horse box and slowly drove back to the centre.
Dave Canty from Tower Equine Hospital was waiting.

Mikey has a long way to go - medication, wound dressings and keeping him clean 24/7 along with visits from our vet ... infection is the biggest worry.

A brave little boy, we promise to do everything in our power to give him a life worth living.

Who let this happen?
