DireTube News - South Sudan gov’t warns over fake Salva Kiir social media accounts

The Office of the South Sudanese President has alerted media outlets about the existence of fake social media outlets in the name of President Salva Kiir.

“We would like to inform the general public that President Salva Kiir Mayardit has neither an official Facebook nor Twitter account in his name, or his nickname. Likewise, the Office of the President has no official Twitter or Facebook account,” the statement sent to Dire Tube from the President’s office on Monday said.
