Life of Filipinos in Extreme Poverty. Meet this Poor Filipino Family. Poverty in Manila Philippines
J's comment: Wake up!!! It's not a hero burial!!! Being the Ex- PRESIDENT of the Philippines he could be buried at LIBINGAN NG MGA BAYANI!!! MOVE ON!!! I was born during Martial Law & I could see how great the Philippines before... then now the PHILIPPINES suffered because of the AQUINOS!!! Wake Up Mark
My Reply: My father and mother fought for the Filipinos' freedom during the 70's. Many of their fellow revolutionaries were killed by Marcos' controlled police and military.
I bet you have no idea how many thousands were killed by the Marcos regime huh?
There were no freedom of speech, the media was controlled by the regime and if you got caught talking bad things about the regime, you are toast.
Yeah, go back to a time where everyone regardless of age are not allowed to be on the streets after 10 pm.
You go out of your house after 10 and if you got caught by the Marcos' gestapos, they will salvage you and throw your body in the river.
Yeah, Marcos was that great huh?
Jim's comment: Since you began you political vlogs recently this is the first one i agree with really..
I cant even find a History of Martial Law book for sale in book stores in the Philippines..
Young folk just do not know or care and it is not taught in schools..
Jim
My Reply: My mother was the Chief Editor of REX back in the 80's. REX is a publishing company that publish academic books that most Filipino students use in the classrooms.
My mother did quit and surrender her position because the time came where she could not take it any longer.
The Americans were the ones who dictate what to teach to the Filipino youth.
Have you seen FPJ's movie titled "Asedillo"? Watch it! It's about the dawn of U.S. Imperialism in the Philippines.
You don't see any books about Marcos' Martial Law because there were many big players involved, not only Ferdinand Marcos. F. Marcos was the biggest U.S. puppet during the Martial law period in the Philippines. I guess you know what I am talking about.
