Ok, so the $695 annual fee just posted on my Amex Platinum card, and I decided to keep the card for another year.

This decision even surprised me because just 8 months ago, I made a video about how I might cancel my Amex Platinum card due to being fed up with high annual fees, multiple statement credits, and my experiences with lounge overcrowding.

And while those are still issues, I analyzed my own use case with the Amex Platinum card and realized that despite my hatred towards these things, this card still made sense for me.

So, in this video, I'll tell you the 3 reasons why I decided to keep my American Express Platinum card for another year and give you some insight into how this card may still be worth it despite its reputation as the card that everyone loves to hate.
