✔️ Congress will review a legislative proposal from Democrats that prohibits public officials from issuing or endorsing digital assets. The ban would also extend to the families of politicians, including spouses, children, and their representatives. Democratic Congressman Sam Liccardo stated that Donald Trump and Melania profited illegally from their meme coins at the expense of investors who lost their money.

📣 SEC officially closes case against Coinbase
✔️ The SEC has dropped its lawsuit against the largest U.S. crypto exchange, signaling a shift in regulatory approach. The lawsuit, filed in June 2023, accused Coinbase of violating securities laws by providing brokerage, exchange, and clearing services without SEC registration. This decision follows similar actions taken against Consensys.

📣 BlackRock transfers BTC and ETH to Coinbase Prime
✔️ BlackRock, moved 5,100 BTC ($441.88M) and 30,280 ETH ($71.85M) to Coinbase Prime, raising investor concerns over a potential sell-off. These transfers coincided with large outflows from the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) and a drop in the Fear & Greed Index to 10, signaling extreme fear in the market.

📣 New crypto crime agency launched in S. Korea
✔️ The investigative unit consists of 34 staff members, including 11 financial regulators, under the supervision of the Seoul Southern District Prosecutor’s Office. Since 2023, the unit had a temporary status and gained recognition through several high-profile cases, such as the arrest of shaman Gon Jin. Since its creation, the task force has charged 74 individuals and arrested 25 people.

In the framework, Saylor forecasts the cryptocurrency market expanding to $280 trillion and estimates its broader economic impact at $590 trillion.
