I ramble on a smidgen in this video but if you're genuinely interested in how to best travel with you drone gear then here's some tips;

1. Bring all spare batteries on board with you, every plane company has a limit of 100WA per battery and the vast majority of drone batteries are well under that. Cover the terminals on the batteries with tape or whatever works, this is just to show the blokes at security that you're safe with them.

2. Put all your tools in your check in luggage, I've forgotten to do this with prop tools and had them confiscated, so just to be safe chuck them all under the plane.

3. You can bring your drone in carry on and in check in, it doesn't matter, I just take the props off for ease of transport and all my props go in check in luggage but they can be brought in carry on perfectly fine.
