THE EXTENDED HEROES AND VILLAINS

Notes:

First of all, I know there are a lot of "Heroes and Villains as a side long suite!" mixes over the internet. And by that I mean a whole lot. So why am I doing it anyway?

Well, the answer is simple: to do it more accurately. Most people when doing this include some things that aren't, well, part of H&V. They use great portions of Do You Like Worms, and Vegetables, which for sure weren't going to get incorporated into the song. He just stole the Bycicle Rider section from Worms, and Vegetables evolved from the Do a Lot section of H&V. The same is the case with some bits such as With Me Tonight, He Gives Speeches, or even the Psychedelic Sounds bits!

So, what I did include was every single section ever recorded under the Heroes and Villains name, as released on The Smile Sessions. I also added Barnyard and I'm in Great Shape, due to them being in the Humble Harv demo, and The Old Master Painter, due to mentions of a May 1966 version of H&V including it. Just everything that was meant for the song, without any creative liberties in that sense.

Other than that, I based my structure more or less on the Brian Wilson Presents Smile version. Only difference is, I split it into two parts (the first ends with Cantina and the second starts with Children Were Raised), and sandwiched the other sections in between.

I also added the "Three Score Five" verse to the second half, in between the second Bycicle Rider and the Prelude to Fade, as well as adding the actual fade after it.

The filling of my Heroes and Villains sandwich consists of four different sections, divided by either themes or content:

1 - The "Part Two" section. These are the bits that were rumoured (along with Prelude to Fade) to be a part of the Part Two b-side of Heroes and Villains. Consists of Intro/Gee/Part 2/Swedish Frog/Part 4

2 - The "Healthy" section. Banded together due to flowing well together, as well as a Healthy/Playful theme in all of them. Part 1 tag is used as a piano intro to Great Shape, as in BWPS. Consists of Part 1 Tag/I'm in Great Shape/Do a Lot/Bag of Tricks

3 - The "Odds and Ends" section. This one consists of two links and two piano instrumentals. Added talking to the middle of All Day, per Brian's wishes. Consists of Mission Pak/All Day/Piano Theme/Whistling Bridge

4 - The "Barnyard suite" section. Put together due to segueing well together, and already being together in BWPS. I just added the Barnshire fade, as it fit in well with the songs and theme. Consists of Barnyard/The Old Master Painter/You Are My Sunshine/Barnshire
