HMAS Westralia & Brisbane RAS UNREP accident, Houston we have a problem

Royal Australian Navy - Tanker replenishing a "Perth" class DDG (Based on Charles F Adams class). RAS / Unrep accident

Steel span cable parts after being fully paid out, diesel hose parts shortly after.
Notice "sparks" when cable parts.
DDG HMAS Brisbane could not maintain station in heavy seas.
We were too slow to avoid the cyclone.
Quality of vid a bit dodgy, it was shot on VHS-C, then copied to VHS and is nearly 18 year old.
Weather is from a typhoon in the area just south of Japan.
From memory the DDG was very low on fuel, so we had no choice in the matter.
For USN folks, a RAS (Replenishment At Sea) is same as UNREP
