As per Mr_Long instructions - file can be used on 17" 2011 MacBook Pro A1297 as well, but in order to get rid of the Blue Tint - Resistors R9240 and R9242 have to be replaced with 0 Ohm Resistors.

If flash fails for You - You can ground PLT_RESET_L line but make sure to remove the jumper after successful flash. The easiest location is U2890 (PLT_RESET_L and GND are next to each other)
