Trying to improve the signal to noise using WWV on 5000 khz

WWV with a good signal.
Riding the RF gain and Audio gain controls to try to maximise signal to noise. Also using the notch filter.
Communication receivers and Ham transceivers fitted with a proper RF gain control can be used this way. Those that have a combined RF gain / Squelch are less effective.
