I always thought it was kind of shitty that Crowfeather walked away from Feathertail, Leafpool, and Nightcloud relatively unscathed. Nightcloud had to watch her son's self worth deteriorate, to the point that he trained with the Dark Forest and tried to kill Lionblaze, all while dealing with the fact that Crowfeather never loved her and had kits with Thunderclan's medicine cat. Leafpool lost her position, the respect she held among both her clanmates and the other clans, and her bond with her kits, discovered that her daughter had become a killer, and keep in mind that Hollyleaf tried to kill her as well, before basically dying twice, none of which Crowfeather was there for. And Feathertail died trying to save him. Every time, Crowfeather has only had to deal with the fact that he has no mate anymore, while the she-cats lose pretty much everything, even their lives in Feathertail's case (and arguably Hollyleaf's as well- Crowfeather's grief comes from not ever knowing her, not from established love like Hollyleaf's Thunderclan kin had for her). All Crowfeather has to do is feel guilty, while the she-cats pick up the pieces of what was once their lives, and I wish the narrative truly acknowledged the imbalance in their suffering. I mean, yay for Crowfeather having the self awareness to realize that he was a terrible dad in Crowfeather's Trial, but he acts like a jerk to everyone around him in TNP, PO3, and OOTS while even the she-cats who put nothing but good into the world (Leafpool and Feathertail) get punished by the story as if they were the only ones responsible for their forbidden relationships with him. He's not the victim here.

That being said, he's a lot more tolerable when he's narrating. However, if I have to literally read a character's mind in order to like them, I'm not gonna like them, sorry. xD
