Follow along as I install and setup PiCore Player for the first time.
I am installing PiCore Player on my very old Raspberry Pi B+ v1 2 and turning it into a high rez media and internet radio streamer.
Installation requires work, you need to load and configure the components
(LMS, Samba, extra filesystems, skins, setup up partitions) you plan to use.
PiCore Player is highly customizable, but a knowledge of Unix systems might prove helpful
there a many documents on the piCore site and very helpful forums!
Bonus after installation, I show clips on how to add a USB DAC (topping E50)
and installing the necessary components to enable ultra high resolution DSD playback.
Also how to alter the skin to include fields like folders that are not present by default.
