One World Trade, Freedom Tower Observatory Walkthrough, and More Good Times in NYC - March 2021

On the morning of September 11, 2001, I was a sophomore in high school, returning to homeroom from gym class; the corner tv tube in each classroom was suddenly turned on showing smoke pouring out of one of the towers; shortly thereafter, we watched in stunned silence as a plane entered the second building, ultimately bringing both buildings to the ground.

It's been 20 years since this awful tragedy and the world has not forgotten. Today, One World Trade stands beautifully and proudly both as a memorial to the precious lives lost and as a beacon of strength and hope to the world.

Join us, as we visit One World Trade and walk through the observatory; the GoPro footage does not do justice to the awe-inspiring view from the observatory. If you haven't already, we hope you get to visit one day.

Finally, we enjoy some more good times in NYC with a hike through the Oculus, ending at South Street Seaport, eating delicious tacos at Los Tacos No 1, drinking steamy coffee at Starbucks Reserve, and finishing the evening with a nightcap at the Watermark Bar along the East River.
