Reolink on Firestick

Video tutorial for adding Reolink app to Amazon Firestick.
You need
1 – A firestick!
2 – A Bluetooth mouse (only to setup)
3 - 10 minutes of your time

Summary of the video:

1. On firestick Settings, enable both the developer options, accept disclaimers. This will let you install apps that Amazon don’t ‘allow’
2. Search for “Downloader” app from the amazon store and install
3. Using the downloader app navigate to the browser (left menu) and go to www.apkmirror.com you will use the up/down/left/right as a mouse (NOTE: other APK sites available. Recently apkMirror seems to be a problem but apkpure.com is working instead, same idea)
4. Navigate through the website and search Reolink. This will give the list of APK files. The APK is the software that would be installed on an Android device but works on the Firestick.
5. Be careful to get to the right section to download the app, there will be spam boxes and adverts to lead you away from the right buttons
6. Eventually you will see the file downloading to the device.
7. You now have Install option – in the screen you can make out the select box when you use left/right buttons. OK to install.
8. App is now on the firestick and needs to be setup. You will need a Bluetooth mouse for this. The Firestick phone app and the firestick remote will not work on one of the sections.
9. Install Bluetooth mouse from settings on the Firestick.
10. Open the Reolink App
11. Use the mouse to accept and continue
12. Go through the same setup as you would your phone to add the usernames and passwords to login to the device.
13. Hit the play button bottom right and select how many screens you want on start-up – I have 8 so selected the 9 screen option.

When it comes to an update, follow the same process but this time when you open the app after install, the login info is retained so you don't need the mouse.
