Howdy!♫♪ Today's shironuri makeup tutorial is a clown makeup look inspired by the artist Michael Hussar. I decided to make an evil clown with the most late 90s visual kei eyebrows in existence XD

For this evil clown makeup look I wanted to create something based off a collar I customized. It's actually a tutu made for infants, which I found at JoAnn Fabrics for $14. Actual collars like that (which I think are called ruffs or Elizabethan collars?), tend to go for twice that price, and that's on the low side, so it was quite the deal for me. I cut the back of it and attached two lace bands, so I could tie it around my neck.

My first idea for this clown makeup was to create something based off the artwork of Michael Hussar, since these sort of collars pop up a lot in his art. His artwork is very macabre and dark, which of course I like :3

For the makeup, however, I kept it pretty simple. After applying my shironuri base, I did a basic cut crease, focusing on the inner half of my eyes, followed by upside down crosses below my eyes and a scar going down my philtrum and chin. These are also prevalent in his work.

And of course, Hussar's work commonly features bloated, glossy red lips. Well I skipped the bloated part, but instead focused on making my lips as red and bitten-looking as possible.

This is meant to look like an evil clown, so a bit Halloween appropriate. I do love a creepy, evil clown...
