CHRISTMAS BAKE WITH ME: SUGAR COOKIES || DIY CHRISTMAS COOKIE BOXES

Hey my loves! I hope you're all doing well. Today I'm bringing back the baking videos and starting my Christmas bake with me! YAY. I'm going to be doing loads more baking to the run up of Christmas so if you have any requests then do let me know. Today's baking is something new that I haven't ever done before and it's sugar cookies! Sugar cookies are that super aesthetically pleasing cookie that almost looks too good to eat hehe. I've always wanted to try these so here we go so please bare in mind this was my first ever attempt. I definitely learnt loads along the way and know where to improve for next time but I thought i'd share my results from my first ever batch. They honestly tasted SOO good once all done so i'd definitely recommend! Anyway hope you enjoy! Lots of love, Laura xxx

SUGAR COOKIES RECIPE:
- 226g or 1 cup of unsalted butter - room temperature
- 200g or 1 cup caster sugar
- 1 large egg
- 315g or 2 & 1/2 cup of plain flour
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 3 teaspoons of baking powder (I did 4 but definitely cut down to 3!)

SUGAR COOKIE ROYAL ICING RECIPE:
- 4 CUPS OF ICING SUGAR
- 3 TABLESPOONS OF EGG WHITE POWDER
- 7 TABLESPOONS OF WATER
