Aksaray is one of the most popular districts of Istanbul, located at the intersection of Vatan Avenue and Millet Avenue in the Fatih district of Istanbul. It is surrounded by the districts of Unkapanı, Fatih, Laleli, Fındıkzade and Yenikapı. Until 2009, it was formerly known as Çakırağa neighborhood in the administrative organization.
