How to animate shapes and text etc from Affinity 3.2 into Davinci Resolve 21 and do this in fusion across individual layers

00:00 - What sort of files can be used ? Files created in the AF Affinity format and then imported into Davinci Resolve and these shapes are individual layers and included text etc
00:25 - How to import AF files into Resolve from Affinity ? Simply use the import media approach and then drag the imported file from Resolve 21 media pool into the opened timeline
01:06 - How to access the shapes etc in fusion in Resolve ? Go to the fusion tab and you can then see the clip, the clip can then be opened up further via the inspector and tools tab by using the layer option in the panel - select the layer for that movie node
01:52 - What if there are more than one layers / elements / shapes ? Duplicate the node using copy / paste and then go to the inspector and tools and change the layers to another required layer. Now the next issue is to set up a merge node if using only a few nodes but if you have multiple inputs then use the multimerge node instead. Set up the lines from the inputs into the multimerge and then to the output (mediaout)
03:09 - What if I want to add some effects To Affinity shapes ? Go to the effects tab and then select an effect and drag in between the the movie node and the merge and then set the values for the effect such as blur or spherical etc
03:23 - How to duplicate shapes in the fusion ? You can use the duplicate effect and create multiple copies of the shape and these can then be animated later via keyframes
03:59 - How to bend / warp text in Resolve ? Use the bend node in fusion and drag that onto the nodes panel in between the movie input and the merge and then you can interactively modify the mid point or use the settings in the inspector panel and then use this to setup the keyframes by clicking the right side little diamond of the effect setting such as midpoint or any of the others and then move the timeline playhead and set the values again and so on and then you can animate the warping of the text (or shape etc)
05:50 - How to play this in the edit tab ? Go to the play button and play and now you will see the text or shapes move or the blur etc change over time depending on the keyframes set and the settings applied.
