Piranesi and Perspectives of Rome Exhibition 2014

The "Piranesi and Perspectives of Rome" exhibition at UALR features etchings by the Italian architectural designer and artist Giovanni Battista Piranesi. The importance of Roman architecture and its legacy runs throughout this collection of imagery. The dramatic use of lighting in these etchings also points to the artist’s training as a set designer in Venice.
