Connecticut, 1970. A nursing student named Donna got a Raggedy Ann doll for her birthday. Days later it had moved on its own. Doors she'd locked were standing open. Childlike notes appeared on parchment paper begging for help.

Then her roommate's boyfriend Lou woke up with three deep claw marks torn across his chest.

The Warrens took the doll. They didn't call it a ghost. They called it a demon pretending to be a child, slowly earning trust so it could destroy. They locked it inside a glass case at their Occult Museum in Monroe Connecticut and hung a sign above it: "Warning. Positively do not open." A priest still blesses the case twice a year.

In 2019 a visitor mocked the doll on his way out the door. He died in a motorcycle crash before he reached home. The museum closed to the public that same year. The case has never been opened since.

In Monroe, they'll tell you visitors still see the doll's head slowly turn behind the glass, following them with dead button eyes.

The locks remain. The blessings continue.
