Riding a bicycle in city traffic | safety tips, including real accident footage

In this video I discuss some of my strategies I use in traffic trying to reduce the risk as much as possible. Riding a bike in city traffic is dangerous, but we can try to increase our safety by focusing on position and anticipation of certain events.

I also included a real accident footage of a crash that involved a friend of mine, luckily without any major injuries for the rider, but that resulted in a total loss for the bike.

I’m aware that I missed so many other important considerations, I wanted to start with some examples and I might come back to the subject. Let’s all try to stay safe as much as we can.
