13.)Mount Korab, North Macedonia and Albania

Standing at 2764 meters above sea level it is the fourth highest peak in the Balkan peninsula and highest peak in Albania and North Macedonia. It has two summits, lower is at 2756 merters abovev sea level and is called Korab 2. and that makes this mountain the only one with two peaks in Europe, which are the highest point for more than one country. If you go from Albanian side whatch out for aggressive dogs and there is very poor local signposting.

It is and it was The highest peak in Slovenia and Yugoslavia before Slovenia's independence. It has three peaks and highest also called Veliki Triglav is at 2864 meters above sea level. In 1895 on top of the mountain a small metal structure was build, the Aljaz Tower. It is representing a symbol of Slovenes. The ascent on peak Triglav was initiated by polymath and indistrualist Sigmund Zois in 1778, and it was achieved late in the same year. Triglavs three peaks also are representing coat of arms of Slovenia and was a symbnol of Liberation front of the Slovene Nation.

Located in the Olympus Range, mount Olympus has 52 peaks and Highest is named Mytikas and is standing at 2917 meters above the sea level. Ancient Greeks considered it as place of Olympian Gods. The climb on peak Mytikas is rated as hard and handholds are necessary. If you fall it can easily be fatal. Because of that Mytikas was reached in 1913.

10.) Musala, Bulgaria

Musala is the highest place in Rila mountain at 2925 meters above the sea level. It is the highest peak in all Bulgaria and also the entire Balkan Peninsula. If you get to the top you can see all major Mountain ranges of Bulgaria. In 1960 they built a cosmic ray station right on the peak. Unfortunately in 1983 it was destroyed by electrical fire. Musalas average annual temperature is -2.3°C and that also makes Musala the coldest place in Bulgaria and again entire Balkan peninsula.

9.)Zugspitze, Germany

South of the German town Garmisch-Partenkirchen on the Austrian-Germany border at 2962m lies Mountain Zugspitze. It is the highest peak in Germany and highest peak of the Wetternstein Mountains. On the flanks of the Zugspitze are also two of the largest glaciers in Germany. The biggest is Northern Schneeferner with an area of 30.7 hectares and second is Höllentalferner with an area of 24.7 hectares. Josef Naus, mountain guide Johann Georg Tauschl and Josef's survey assistant Maier reached the peak on 27 August 1820.

8.)jøkulkyrkja, Norway

It is also known as the Glacier Church and it is located in the Mühling-Hofmann Mountains, East Antartica. At 3148 meters above the sea level it is the highest peak in Queen Maud Land and also Norway. Is a broad mountain with ice on the top and several radial rock spurs. The other peak is located on the Southwest and it is 2910 meters above the sea level. First ascent on the peak did a team of 13 climbers led by Ivar Tollefsen. This ascent happened in January 1994.
7.) Mulhacen, Spain

Standing at 3482 meters above the sea level.Mulhacen is the highest place in the Iberian Peninsula and western Europe, outside the Alps. According to legend this peak was named after Abu'l Hasan Ali who was also known as Muley Hacen. He is said to have been buried on the top of this mountain. It has 4 main routes and they all varying of technical levels. So that means it is suitable for everyone.

6.) Gunnbojrn fjeld, Denmark

Located North of the Arctic circle in Watkins Mountains where massive mountains rise from the Greenland icecap. That's why conditions on this mountain are very similar to those in Antarctica. It is easily accessible on a ski-plane from Iceland. And you can climb it on snow shoes, only last part has to be done on crampons. First ascent on this 3694 meter high peak was in 1930 by The British Arctic Air Route Expedition.

5.) Teide, Spain -

This Mountain is actually a volacno located on Tenerife in the Canary Islands. At 3718 meters above the sea iyt is the highest summit in the islands of Atlantic and Spain. This volcano is also 4th highest volcano in the World and National park around was named World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2007. Its also the most visited natural wonder of Spain and vlcano last erupted in 1909. It was first mentioned by Sir Edmund Scory in 1626. And first major climb was in 1715 by English traveler J. Edens and his party.
