Birds Mouth Notch for Roof Rafters in the Tiny Garden Tool Shed Build. I use my own 'version' of a Birds Mouth Notch in the Roof Rafters for my Tiny Garden Tool Shed Build because it gives more stability for the type of roof I am installing.

The Birds Mouth Notch sits atop the double top plates and is where the roofing materials are then attached.
