All you need to know about dodging and burning in darktable using the traditional technique and the smart way.
Please note that in this video I use my old presets I developed in the now deprecated Basic Adjustments module (I realised it only after I created this video).
In saying that, the workflow with the new presets in the Exposure Module is still the same.
