Abandoned Cottage Resort Ontario, Canada. Explore #46

This cottage resort was a happening place back in its day. This 10 cottage resort was built in the early 1940’s. Each cottage had their own kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms with beautiful views of the lake. People that stayed here enjoyed great fishing, campfires, barbecuing and family time relaxing on the water. They once had a bait and tackle shop, camp store, gas, docks, boat rentals and a nice little beach. Looking at the drone footage the camp store, beach and docks are no longer here. Now the resort sits abandoned and forgotten.

They were trying to sell this property by “power of sale” so I hope one day maybe they can reopen a new resort here but most likely the new owner will demolish the cottages and build a new cottage or house on the property.

My father took me to my first abandoned house when I was 7 years old. I remember going into the house and a old farmer came in and told us "we better watch out as the floors are all rotten and unsafe". Ever since that day I was hooked on exploring abandoned places.
