Water always brings the best moments

Flood control canal in Wrocław [vrotsuav] Poland 🇵🇱 one of our fav places.

This is a part of the water system of our town. Odra river is the major axis of it, plus 5 other rivers that cross in the town.

The soundscape of this place is lovely. Some fishermen come here to fish. They say the water is clean, the fish is good. We wish to fish too again. Last time we fished it was some 40 years ago, way to long ago.

Fortunately they stopped frequent mowing here. They mow only twice a year. Still not plenty herbs here, just many, but it could be more if there was more flowering herbs, good for pollinators.

There are nice plants here and we come here often with our students for presentation or to have a picnic by the water bank. Birds are always doing their great job with the sound. We adore those moments. It's really great to be able to work and spend time looking at water and listening to fishes splashing in the water.
