Narrative Short Film | Knowled F400R F200R | Cinematic Sequence
Don't Make THIS Lighting Mistake in Your Short Films. 🎬 In this episode, I reveal how I lit my short film *No Way Out* using just two lights. From Zero To Cinematic: My First Short Film Ever — the Godox KNOWLED F400R and F200R — in a gritty, Fargo-inspired warehouse interrogation scene.
Don't Make A Lighting Mistake in Buying Cheap Lights!
The F400R served as my main overhead key at 3200K to replicate that harsh industrial warehouse lighting. The F200R was set to RGB mode and cast a subtle teal fill across the room for added mood, tone, and separation. A few background practicals completed the look. This was all done solo — no crew, no gimmicks, just pure storytelling through light.
💡 Lights Used:
• Godox KNOWLED F400R: 400W RGBWW Panel
• Godox KNOWLED F200R: 200W RGBWW Panel with AirSoft Inflatable Softbox
🔥 Specs:
• CRI: 96 / TLCI: 97
• IP65 Water & Dust Resistant
• 20+ FX Modes (Police Lights, TV Flicker, Firelight, etc.)
