Traje de Magdalena

Barong is commonly wears by Filipino men and I used this inspiration for women dress to Filipiñana as a gesture of being "Brave and strong Filipina" like Magdalena Estiosta Leones.

Also known as Lioness of Filipina Agents.

Born and raised in Kalinga, MAGDALENA ESTIOSTA LEONES didn’t let her lack of military experience stop her from assuming various roles during WWII(World War II). She spent most of her early twenties nursing the wounded and providing vital intelligence information to the Allied forces. Indeed, she was the ultimate Filipina spy.

Materials: 24 different types of beads glass, Pearls and Swarovski crystals and others..
