Brigadier General Felix L Sparks (August 2, 1917 - Septhember 25, 2007) was an American Colonel who led the 3rd Battalion of the 157th Infantry Regiment of the 45th Infantry Division of the United States Army in WW2, the first Allied force to enter Dachau concentration camp and liberate its prisoners.

The Freedom Celebration was a gala presentation by the Denver First Church of the Nazarene, hailed as the best live patriotic presentation many had seen to date. It especially honored the WWII Vets.

2000 Freedom Celebrationfeatured the Navajo Code Talkers, General Sparks - Dachau concentration camp liberator, and gala patriotic music and dance.
