Daniel Lanois needs no introduction.

His influential blend of atmospheric sound design and staggeringly beautiful Americana has left its mark on the countless greats he helped make greater. Peter Gabriel’s So, Bob Dylan’s Time Out Of Mind, U2’s The Joshua Tree — those are his introduction. Lanois recently invited us to his Los Angeles estate for an intimate performance before turning around and delivering a live mix for the camera.
