Israel Fires On Gazans Moving North, Egypt Suggests NATO or Other Forces In Demilitarized Palestine

A future Palestinian state could be demilitarised with temporary international security presence, Egypt's President said. The head of Hamas' political bureau said the truce and hostage release deal that went into effect Friday was on Hamas' terms. Haniyeh said Hamas "held difficult talks" for the sake of Palestinians and to "prevent Israel from skirting its commitment” to a truce. He also said that Hamas was committed to the truce and hostage swap deal and its success as long as Israel is committed as well.
