Here is a list of top places to see in Udaipur in two days, watch this before you plan a trip.
We stayed in Treebo Jhalaman Hotel which is in the city centre, rented a bike for Rs.650 per day you can also take activa which is cheaper in cost.
Avoid renting a car as old city is very crowded and roads are narrow. City is very beautiful, do see lake Pichola, Lake badi, Fateh sagar lake, we did boating in Lake pichola costs Rs.400 per person and Rs. 200 per child. boat took us across lake pichola and allowed to see City Palace, Lake Palace, Jag Mandir and old city. Stopped at Jagmandir, 15-20 mins was enough for us to roam around and capture scenic beauty.
Badi lake is less explored by tourists and hence a calm place to spend quality time it reflects the image of Switzerland.
City Palace is the largest palace in Rajasthan, took nearly 400 years to build.
Monsoon Palace is build on the top most hill gives a panoramic view of city of lakes and aravali hill.
Fateh Sagar Lake is best to spend evening, walk around the lake and enjoy street food.
Rope way is one the attractions but needs prior ticket booking as waiting time is long.
Best Places to eat:
Natraj restaurant for unlimited gujrati and rajasthani thali.
Harigarh restaurant for royal rajasthani and continental food
and many more places are there even cafes and roof tops are available.
But most of the restaurants need reservation as they don't allow walkin guests.
