Showing African farming to others

Virginia Wango is expecting hundreds of local school children and farmers to the first LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming) Open Farm Day in Kenya. Careful preparation and planning of what they want to show and share on the day are key to the event's success.
This film, one of eleven, is being used to share good agricultural practice in Africa.
The day was organised as part of the Waitrose-led initiative with LEAF (http://www.leafuk.org), Green Shoots Productions (http://www.green-shoots.org), and African exporters Blue Skies, British and Brazilian, KHE and Sunripe, with support from UK DFID's FRICH fund, to share good agricultural practice between African farmers and keep smaller scale farmers in the supply chain to the UK.
