Impala rutting gone wrong

These two males were trying to impress the ladies but ended up being the laughing stock after their rutting led to them getting stuck together.

During the rut, the impala ram’s testosterone levels escalate and they begin to fight for territory and dominance over female herds. They are heard making a distinct snorting sound stemming from the nasal cavity, similar to the alarm call they make when they see predators.
