Slovenia train ahead of last-16 clash against Portugal｜Euro 2024｜Jan Oblak｜Benjamin Sesko｜Matjaz Kek
Slovenia trained on Sunday morning at their base in Wuppertal, Germany, as Matjaz Kek's side prepared for Monday's Euro 2024 last-16 tie against Portugal in Frankfurt.
The Slovenians qualified for the knockout stages via the third-placed route after drawing all three group games against Denmark, Serbia and England.
Portugal, meanwhile, won their group with a game to spare after two victories against the Czech Republic and Turkey, but lost the final group match to Georgia after resting several key players.
The match against Portugal will be Slovenia's first knockout game at a major tournament in 32 years as an independent football nation. Slovenia went home after the group stage at Euro 2000, and the World Cups of 2002 and 2010.
The winner on Monday will advance to face Belgium or France in the quarter-finals on Friday.
