Premium Car Kit, West Coast Growler is an awesome kit. It came with everything you need to get an well made and fast pinewood derby car.I carved the space for the weights under the car base and the weights are seamless to be bottom of the car.

My son and I had fun putting this model together but the race was an imbarassment. He doesn't mind losing but we were so far back that it was a joke. A few times Premium Car Kit, West Coast Growler didn't even finish the race. Some highly experienced guys looked at the car and said it was junk and with the plastic hubcaps there was no way to make it faster. It was illegal for competition but we were just doing a pre-competition event with a father and son group so we were allowed to race.

The packaging was poor, getting silicone glue on many of the parts. The paint was dried out. It doesn't come with glue so the word "premium" should be removed from the title. As I mentioned in the video we used Gorilla Glue Super Glue and it worked well. Make sure you use something like it or you'll never get the fenders to stay on.

I did not do my homework before buying this car. Please do not do what I did. Check the rules of your race and do your research. Many videos are available online so you don't even have to be able to read. Premium Car Kit, West Coast Growler
